What is nice about this tool is there are 5 speeds and an AUTO mode. The trigger of the tool has variable speed, so at each speed, you can start off real slow to start the cut, then press the trigger all the way to hit the maximum speed at each setting. Nice! The AUTO mode will soft start at 1500 rpm and then automatically jump directly to a maximum speed of 3500 rpm.Changing blades is very easy and fast. There is a plastic shield to cover the blade area and also a plastic insert to prevent splitting of the wood. Both are made of high quality clear plastic. The LED light to illuminate the cutting line is very bright.Another nice thing is that the sole baseplate is metal but it is replaceable in case it gets scratched up. If you use a Hikoki fast charger, the 36V battery charges in only 20 minutes. The nice thing about Hikoki batteries is they have a rubber bottom, so they don't get scratched up like Makita batteries, which have no rubber bumper on them. Also the Hikoki tools are designed so when you attach the batteries, it is easy to see the remaining charge on them. The 'remaining charge' button faces outward in a direction that is easy to see.The bottom part of the jigsaw is very heavy metal, but when you attach a large 36V 4.0 Ah battery, the balance of the tool is quite good. Overall it is a solid, heavy tool. Hikoki makes very nice 36V tools. Very high tech, but quite expensive, of course! More expensive than Makita 40V.

音も割と静かで昼の室内なら住宅地でも使えるレベルだと思う。粉塵アダプターも別売りで売っているのでつけたほうがいい。パワーは申し分ないが少し重いかな。

ブレードを交換するのにレバー一つで交換出来るしバッテリーなので直ぐに使い始められるのが良いチップカバーを外すとき鍋ネジの頭に当たり外すし難い

約10mmの軟鋼板を比較的きれいに部分的に切りたい為に購入。切削スプレーをふりながら、123Xと118Bのブレードを使用。個人的に想定していた通り切れたので買って良かったです。使ってる最中材料に刃がかんで負荷がかかると動作が止まる事は何度もありましたが、自分の扱いが下手なのもありますし十分許容範囲でした。

木工やアルミ複合板の加工に用いています。あまり多用することのないジグソーですが、それまで使用していた有線タイプのジグソーが壊れてしまったため曲線の加工にはなくてはならないツールですので購入に至りました。選択肢は他にもありましたが、このモデルにした一番の理由がマルチボルトバッテリーを既に所有していたことでした。価格は高めですが、実際に使用してみて（約半年間）購入して正解だったと思っています。・パワー36V仕様なので100V機と変わらない感覚です。・安定感グリップの位置・形状や重量バランスのためでしょうか、加工時にふらつくこともなく操作もしやすいです。・機能ホールドスイッチがあるので常時トリガーを引き続けなくても操作できるので本体を操作しやすいです。変速ダイヤルのオートモード「A」は想像以上に使いやすいと感じました。節の多い材木の加工でも本体の操作がしやすく思います。・取り回しバッテリー仕様なので、加工に集中できるのが本当にありがたいです。ツールとしては全く不満はありませんが、価格だけがちょっと悩ましいですね。
