This is my second Redchef purchase. I love my skillet so much I couldn't resist purchasing this set. Naturally, the first appeal was the feature that allows the handle to be removed. Being able to store these pans neatly is indeed convenient and practical. However, I was immediately pleased with their weight and quality. It took a few minutes to figure out how to remove the handle. I would have appreciated directions but watched a YouTube video. Once I understood how it worked, it was simple and securely attached. The coating allows for non stick cooking and easy cleanup. I have an induction cooktop and this set heats so much more evenly than my other high priced, trendy items. I highly recommend Redchef products and will continue to add more options in the future.

First, the color is not as pictured. It is a grayish tan. Not bad but darker than the ecru I expected. I did not test with an induction cooktop. I use them in my countertop oven, which is why I wanted the detachable handle, and they are perfect. The handle attaches easily and is secure. It is somewhat harder to detach: a lever pops out under the handle but that is where your hand is. I think the handle needs a redesign. They are very easy to clean. In all, set works well for me.

I Love I these pans. For the people complaining about the handle turning color, stop cooking on High heat and burning the handle. I’ve had no problem at all. Adjust where your pan sits on the burner so, the handle is not in direct contact with the heat.
