It's an awesome music player, I use it mostly to listen to FLAC files, my main reason to purchase it was to help me to get disconnected from my phone. Since it has wifi I've never connected it to my PCIn order to improve the battery life it is recommended to delete all Android bloatware, remove your Google account and leave it in flight mode all time. Also for aesthetics reason install Nova as HomescreenAfter all those little tweaks you can get +10 hours of high quality audio playtime without problems

Well first of all I'd like to mention how cool were customer service since, the first order came defective because it had death Pixels on it so return it and everything else went Dandy. So I place my replacement order arrived and everything was excellent.I bought a pair of drivers exclusively for this walkman a Fiio FH3. I love how this things sound combined with the Walkman really clear sound, crips, you can distinguish with ease all the instruments I really love this Walkman sounds its way better than the A55 which I love but this one is better with sound.The battery is something it could have been improved since it's really decent but it work for me like for two days with no issue. I use to charge my device at 20%. Battery drains fast when the screen is shut down, many recommended to power it down, but I really don't like doing that. The walkman came with a USB C protector of the same color as the device really appreciated.I love that there's no need to connect your device to the PC to download your Music in some way Android made this possible using Google Drive to download your new added files which is a positive thing but, not at all since it eats the battery really bad.It's really lightweight I'm in love with this device, I wanted this one really bad because it had a much better price than my country and because it had a red option. I'd recommend this device because it's sound really cool better use nice headphones, earbuds or what ever you decide, but you gotta understand the battery it's decent and you may charge it way more than other devices like for example my A55, that it last like more than 1 week. So is up to you, but I think it worth it.

So, I've had the Walkman for about 4 days and I absolutely love the NW-A105! The only thing keeping this review from being 5 stars is the battery life which lasted me at least 5 hours of listening. I usually charge mine in between use. It helps to turn off wifi or bluetooth if not in use, there is also a battery saver mode if you prefer. My other complaint is that you can't use the equalizer if you are using a bluetooth output (cars, speakers, and earbuds/headphones), which is a bit disappointing. Note: you can still play music over bluetooth, but you can't use the Walkman equalizer so it won't sound as good. If you have a pair of bluetooth earbuds that include app support with it's own equalizer then your set with that equalizer unless you switch to wired earbuds. I recommend Sony bluetooth earbuds and their equalizer via the 'Sony Headphones' app, which from what I've heard, is pretty good. If you decide to go that route, Sony WF-1000XM3 Bluetooth Earbuds are the best choice for this in my opinion, if you prefer wireless, I have found these earbuds under $100 on eBay and other sellers. The walkman itself is beautiful and attention to detail is great like the different cassette tapes for instance. The size is perfect as well, not too big but not too small. Most apps are present on the Walkman via the Google Play Store such as, Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal, etc. You can even get most social media apps like, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Though Snap Chat isnt present and understandably so since there isnt a camera on the Walkman. Movie apps like Movies Anywhere, Google Play Movies & TV, Netflix, Hulu, are also available on the Play Store as well. For the price, this machine is almost like a phone and definitely worth buying.

This little thing sounds really great and the sd card makes storage brilliant. On the flipside, for what it cost the battery life is terrible and wouldn't even last a flight to Europe. I would love to know what exactly it's doing to burn so much power. The pc software for uploading and synching is not intuitive at all (and I work in IT). Lastly, (even though I figure they don't care) come on Sony, it's the 21st century and your app won't let a person cast?

It's not worth getting, wasted a lot of money on this and I'm hard regretting it, The battery would always drain super fast even on battery-saving mode and towards the end of its life, it just wouldn't charge right anymore. On the bright side, I got a new paperweight.
