Essentially copying the excellent Yamato VF-4G design, the HMR delivers the same level of engineering (minus retractable landing gear and folding articulated hands) albeit in a much smaller package. Paint apps look amazing. The HMR VF-4 comes with a small pilot figure that can be placed in the cockpit, several fixed pose hands that can be easily swapped, a set of extended landing gear as well as panels to cover the landing gear wells, two optional panels to cover the thighs in jet mode, a stand with adapters for both jet and battroid modes, and a gunpod. If I have one complaint about the HMR VF-4, and the same goes for the Yamato 1/60 that inspired it, it's the lack of shoulder articulation which greatly limits arm poseability, a bit of an oversight in a combat mecha. I wish Bandai had taken the opportunity to remedy that shortcoming of the design, but that's more of a subjective gripe than an actual fault with the toy. This is my first HMR toy, and I'm greatly pleased with it. I highly recommend it for anyone with an interest in Macross, or just the design itself, as it presents well in all three modes, is sturdy, has a good range of articulation (shoulders notwithstanding) with tight joints, and plently of accessories for play and display.

なかなか購入できなかったのですがようやく手に入りました

前回のVF-4 ライトニングⅢからもう5年。この商品は前回より1,000円アップの分、付属のスタンドをイラスト入りの専用品にして外箱にもイラストを書き下ろした。特に背景に使えるビジュアルシートには、”当時の姿の鼻先の丸いミンメイ”がしっかり描かれている。本当に素晴らしい。内部パッケージ・商品本体・パーツには特に違う点はないようだ。VF-4 ライトニングⅢ自体は非常にうまく出来ていて、愛すべきバトロイドのバランスは悪く、戦闘能力もなさそうだ。前回は購入から半年ほど経った頃に開けたら、脚部カバーの右が2つという状態で、1つは裏返しに入っていた。交換してもらおうとメーカーに連絡したら、購入経路から開封の遅れた原因まで聞かれる羽目になった。半年で中古品と疑われたようなので、部品の点検はお早めに。

HI-METAL R ライトニングⅢを持っていなかったので、中古買おうか考えていたところ、リパッケージで再販決定。早速予約して購入しました。良い！カッコ良い！三胴機としてデザインされたバルキリーは、とても洗練されており、河森正治氏のデザイン力の高さを否が応にも感じさせられます。フィギュアもそれを見事に再現しています。ガウォーク、バトロイドへの変形も、非常に複雑な変形を、破綻なく再現しており、数年前の設計ながら、バンダイの技術の高さに驚きます。バトロイドは、デザインの都合上、ポーズの自由度は高くないです。それでも、各関節は最低限の可動はしますし、金属パーツ使用により安定感があります。そして今回は、新たにミンメイ・ミサがデザインされた台座が付いています。とても映えます。OVAの雰囲気を感じつつフィギュアを飾れるのが嬉しいですね。総じて大変満足しています。VF-2SSバルキリーⅡも、是非再販お願いしたいです。

このシリーズはバトロイド形態で入っている為、ファイター形態で飾る自分にはキッチリ変形させるのが大変でした。しかし、今回だけなのか（前回のは未購入）超合金シリーズと同じくファイター形態で入っていて助かりました。

商品に問題ありません。ありがとうございます。VF1Sも、良いけれども、VF4もいざ手に入れると、素晴らしい。とくに台座がピかイチ！

El tamaño está perfecto para mi escritorio, el detalle es fantástico pero es de esperarse de la marca. Los accesorios son muy útiles para tenerlo tanto en fighter como en gearwalk y battroid. Incluye su base y fondo de cartón tipo diorama. Lo cual se agradece. Llego bastante rápido.

A very intricate poseable figure (“toy” of sorts) and looks especially good in the fighter jet mode. The backdrop and new artwork (including the included display stand) make it worth having this version, and I ended up buying a couple as gifts for friends.
