全てを知り尽くした時計

高機能の反面操作が難しい。慣れるまで時間がかかる。研究熱心の方にはもってこい。操作ボタンの位置を覚えるまで忍耐が必要。シンプルイズベストを好む方には不向き。操作ボタンの位置を描いたマニアルのページをコピーして常に持って歩くことをお勧めする。スライドスイッチが多いが、ボタンスイッチにして欲しい。夜寝るとき暗いところではスライドスイッチは不便だ。高機能の為だから仕方がない面もある。総合評価は決して悪くない。遠くから見るものではなくあくまでも枕元に置くものだ、手元に置いて見たり細かい操作をするものだ。バックライトは期待できない。高機能は間違いない。

もっと派手でオシャレっぽい卓上デジタル時計は山ほどあるが、地味すぎずチープすぎず、飽きがこなさそうなデザインで良い感じ。満足してます。あとデスクの上がケーブルだらけなので電池で駆動は助かる。

液晶なんで夜は時刻がわからない。当然です。私の選択ミス。この商品に罪はなく。スペックは問題ないです。

I was trying to find a battery-powered alarm clock that was also visible at night. This one gets the job done. It wasn't clear that it used C-size batteries, but I bought a couple of spacers and I use AA Eneloops which have been going for a couple of months so far; I don't expect the advertised year of battery life from AAs but I'll be happy with 3-6 months before recharging the batteries.Note that this clock is only Japanese, so you may not understand the day of the week; I was able to figure out how to set the time without understanding the manual.In alarm mode, the orange backlight is lit up dimly to make the clock visible in the dark (while minimizing the battery usage); you can also manually invoke the backlight at higher brightness temporarily.I believe the clock has radio syncing, but it might only be compatible with the signal broadcast in Japan; however I'm in a borderline area from the American transmitter so I can't say if it's a signal strength or compatibility issue. I didn't expect to use this feature so it doesn't matter to me.Overall, an excellent clock radio that does not require plugging into AC, and has a small footprint.
