シーボーグ300jが故障修理のため、臨時用に購入。大鯛狙いで使用。初回釣行に2.0kg、次回に8.8kgがあがった。ハリス4号のため、滑らかなドラグが必須で、特に大鯛のファーストランの時にドラグテンションが一定であることが必須だが、キチンと作動して大鯛を取れた。またスプールのガタツキのなさはシーボーグより上で仕上がりは精密。巻き取りパワーはやや不足ながらも全体としてはとても良いバランス。満足できる買い物でした。

30C m〜45C mサイズの鯵、イサキ、鯖も余裕で上がります。竿とのバランスも良く長時間の釣りにも疲れません。とても使い勝手の良い電動リールです。

これまで4〜５回太刀魚釣りで使用。少しだけ大きいけど十分なパワーを感じます。太刀魚から青物まで広範囲に使えるところが良いので大きさは仕方なし。とても安定している使い心地です。

Reel failed me on a second trip barely into the first month. After spooling line onto the reel for the second trip, the motor will not engage when power lever is turned on. Had to send the reel back to Japan thru a local agent for a reel that was a month old. Was told that the warranty does not cover internationally for reels bought from Daiwa Japan directly. So be vary about the warranty as you would not be covered if you’re buying via Amazon despite Daiwa offering 1 year warranty on reels.

I brought this reel for my mother as a gift she was very excited to receive because she had a deep drop fishing trip that was 17hr long. While on the trip the reel stopped working completely. She has been going back and forth with Daiwa who is saying it’s not there problem because it’s a Japanese product. The kicker with that is Daiwa is a Japanese company so I don’t understand why they have been able to assist her. She has emailed them and they have told her it’s not there problem l
