I have an orange Hario tagine ceramic / earthenware shallow pot at home ( TND-200 スチームタジン鍋 満水容量：600ml ), mostly for 1-2 person dishes. The tagine mechanism retains moisture and freshness with minimal water usage. I like the high quality see-through Hario tagine glass lid that allows me to monitor the cooking process.I am looking for a deeper cooking pot with higher capacity to make other stewed dishes, rice or with bigger portions. I finally found this one but I struggled with this one or the Hario pure earthenware rice pot. Given the latter one is too heavy (3kg+) on its own, I decided to buy this one (1.4kg) and I am glad so far. I hope it can be durable and easy to clean.Hario product development team and CS, looking forward to more tagine glass lid (eg wider tagine glass lids ) products ( but not too heavy ) from you. 今まで使っていた炊飯鍋のコーティングが剥がれてきたので、買い替えを検討していて、SNSなどでとても評価が高かったのでこちらに決めました。元々ガスで炊いていたのでそんなに変わらないのかなと思っていたけど、土鍋ということもあり、すごく甘くて美味しいご飯が炊けました！お米がひかっていてツヤツヤです。合図の笛の音は、控えめにピーとなるので少し離れていると、鳴ってる？？というくらいの音です。炊き立てのうちのご飯を取り出してしまえば、ご飯は綺麗に取れますが、少し時間が経つと底にくっついてしまってなかなか取れません。あと気になる点は、火があたる底が白色なので、炊くたびに黒くなるのが悲しいです。土鍋だし仕方ないのかもですが、元々がキレイな白色だったので、その点で−1にしました。

初めて土鍋を買ってみました。ホイッスルとガラス蓋のおかげで、白米が最初から美味しく炊けました。何度か炊いて自信がついたので、煮付け用のカレイをお米にでーんと乗せてお酒を振って炊いたところ、いつまで待ってもホイッスルが鳴らずに焦りましたが、ガラス蓋からカレイに火が通ってそうなことと、白米の様子を見て火を止めました。少しおこげができましたが美味しく出来て、家族からはまた作って！と好評でした。ガラス蓋じゃなかったら、きっと何度も蓋を開けてしまって失敗していたと思います。難点は、蓋のパーツを毎回分解して洗うのが少し面倒なことです。でもそれを上回る満足です！

なかなか上手く炊けませんでしたが、やっと思い通りに出来る様になりました。水っぽくなってしまったり、おこげが多くなってしまったりと、失敗を繰り返しながら使って慣れるしかなさそうです。

今まで同じ電気炊飯器を２０年間使っていたので、あまりこだわりもなかった方だと思うのですが、、、、なにこれ！美味しい！！驚きの美味しさです。難しいことはなにもありません。口笛ぐらいの大きさのピー音（別の部屋にいると聞こえないくらいの）がしたら、1分待って火を止め、あとは15分ほど蒸らすだけ。中身が見えるのが安心です。これで炊き込みご飯もつくってみましたが、とても美味しくできました。もう炊飯器には戻れないと思います。見た目も好き！

沸騰したらピーピー音が出るところが便利。説明書では、沸騰したらすぐに火を止めてよいと書いてあり、確かにそれでも米がたけますが、やはり教科書通りに、最初は強火、沸騰したらしばらく弱火で水分を飛ばしていき、蒸らしていくほうが、おいしく炊けます。

メディアを読み込めませんでした。Cooks my black noble rice to perfection. Non stick. Evenly cooked. Saved on gas power too. Makes me wanna buy the bigger one too.

When the liner container of my electric rice cooker had scratches, I started searching for a new rice cooker. I wanted IH rice cooker but they are so expensive. I found this Hario's "Gohan Game". I was curious. This is simple way to cook rice and they say it will be better than rice cooker. It's reasonable price and free shipping from Japan, so I decided to have this. I only use brown rice, that means it's little tricky. But after tried few times, I figured out how much water and how long to cook etc. Easy to clean. The rice doesn't get mushy.
