訳あってルータを2台使用することになったので購入。速度的にも安定しており性能には満足しています。ただ、動画サイト(特にニコニコ動画)見ていると一時的に動画が数秒から1分程ロールバックするんですよね。すぐ元の位置に戻りますけど、明らかにスプリッタ導入の影響です。この製品が原因ではないと思いますが、多少の影響は考慮したほうがいいですね。

Review of RJ45 Ethernet Splitter 1 to 4 Out, 1000Mbps with USB Power Cable.Well this little box seems to be causing quite a debate on whether this is switch, hub or a splitter, personally all I can say is all the RJ45 ports have bi-directional data capability at the same time, the signal strength enhanced by the five volt USB “C” power supply for the combined five data ports to supply or receive up to 100 metres in distance by cable.As for small this is an aluminium casing enclosing five identical RJ45 ports and a Type “C” 5 volt power port in dimensions 70mm x 70mm x25mm, each RJ45 port has two led lights orange and green, again a lot of debate as to the use of these, however for me green is receiving data, orange is sending data, all ports linked to each other so interchangeable in connection for whatever purpose.Personally proof is in the use so this connected as per the user manual, a hub for four CCTV camera connections, the video feed delivered to a CCTV multi camera video recorder, this achieved over a distance of around 100 metres in total without problem, all working and recording at the same time.A second test connecting 1 x PC, 2 x Laptops to my modem, again no problem all receiving and transmitting data at up to 1000Mbps, unfortunately this little box unable to work with POE CCTV cameras although a rotational PTZ camera could be used with a separate power supply.Although not tried the user manual states these splitters can be daisy chained to provide even more feeds but I consider 1 to 4 enough for one RJ45 cable, this item works as described despite debate on the naming description, for me more than adequate for the intended purpose I have and will be using it for.

It allows two devices to connect at the same time without any noticeable interference. The 1000Mbps speed is solid, and the connection remains stable. Setup was straightforward, and it supports various Ethernet cables.The build quality feels sturdy, and the LED indicators are useful for checking the status of each port. Overall, it’s a good solution for expanding network ports, though I would have preferred a slightly more compact design.

This device allows up to two devices to get a wired connection from a single input ethernet cable. The company also makes a 3-output version for a little more, so you might prefer that version based on your needs or future requirements.It has a USB-power input (which is required) but you don’t get the wall plug, as is often the case these days. You do get the cable though.The advert says it works with all cables from Cat5 to Cat8, but then says it’s best to use Cat6 to ensure transmission rate. I think they mean a minimum of Cat6 (so basically, don’t use Cat5 if you want maximum performance).The build quality is perfectly fine and the chassis feels solid. The ports are equally impressive. In testing it worked perfectly, I have no complaints. I am using this with a Macs and a PC (one ancient, one from last year) and it worked fine with a 100mbps connection. They share the bandwidth, as this is a switch, not a splitter. Bandwidth is allocated as needed. It’s easy enough to unscrew if needed.Overall this is a good product and if you can get it for £10 or less then I can highly recommend it.

The RJ45 Ethernet Splitter arrived in a cardboard box inside the outer carton.Inside the box was the splitter, a USB A to C cable and an instruction leaflet. It does not come with a power adapter.In use the splitter, which operates as a powered 2 port switch, works as expected without any issues. It is rated for gigabit speeds and appears to deliver reasonable connection speeds with my TV and and BluRay player connected to it.The price at the time of review was £6.99 which I think represents very good value for money.This is how I am rating items that I review from April 2025 onwards:★★★★★ Excellent product.
