I used this with my A7Siii and a1 SONY cameras on a RONIN SC gimbal. It's so light, I have no trouble holding this for an hour! The image is sharp at f/4 and good at f/2.8. Auto focus is good. Colors, great. Two things worry me. Long term. The lens quality feels cheap, light plastics. Not weather sealed. That's the trade off. Cheap exterior, excellent glass, good price, light weight.Don't drop it, bump it, use it in the rain. So light at 145g.The other issue was the price. I think it's expensive for the quality and a reason why I hesitated. I'd like to see it $100 less. Maybe $299 for this 18mm. Oddly, in the US, Rokinon which is the same lens as Samyang, has this for $100 off, at $299! Samyang $399. Exact.Same.Lens. So I think the price may drop over time but if you're on the fence, this is a perfect lens for gimbals. If you're using it for everyday stuff, I think the SONY 20mm G lens is better at f/1.8 but double the price, It's weather sealed and more than double the weight but will last longer.Final thought:I was going to upgrade my gimbal to the Ronin RS 2 to use heavier lenses but that's not the answer. This is - go lighter. More fun to use! Great for run and gun work. The 8K footage with the a1 and this lens was fantastic! Well done Samyang!

86gとピカイチに軽いレンズです。フルサイズのα7に付けっぱなしになりそうです。レンズフードも格好良いです。

サムヤン、開放値F1.8シリーズを使用しています24.35.75のF1.8中でも、50mmでも85mmでも無い、この75mmは、中望遠領域ながらも、軽量で、持ち運びしやすいレンズでした。多少、フレア、ゴーストが気になりますが、75mmでありながらF1.8開放値は、ありがたいレンズですよ

最近よく使っているα7iiiに、いっつもつけているレンズです。カメラを持ち出す機会を増やしてくれるレンズです。α7iiiにサンヤン35mmだと、MA1のポケットなんかに入っちゃうくらいです軽い、薄い、そこそこ開けれる（絞り）、三拍子揃ったレンズです。しかもコレ、結構寄れるんです。最短撮影距離35センチ。これがどこくらいかっていうと、たとえばランチのときにテーブルを撮りたいとき、とっさに構えても身体を後へ引く必要がない距離です。そう、このレンズはが極めて”ストレス”が少ないレンズです。

ミラーレス一眼を初めて最初に買ったレンズ。あまり知られていない銘柄だが画質は本物。夜でも使えるし持ち主のレベルを伸ばす最適アイテム。

●良かった点・小さくて軽い・そこそこ良く写る・値段が割安・赤のラインが思ったよりカッコいい・ピントリングの固さはちょうどいい●イマイチな点・周辺減光が酷い・フードが緩く、すぐ取れる・動画の時にモーター音がカタカタうるさい（MFにすれば改善する？）・現時点で品薄気味総合して、ひとまず24mmでそこそこ明るい手軽なレンズが欲しい人はオススメ。それと画質もそこそこにコンパクトを追求する人。現状24mm付近の単焦点はシグマ24mmかzeiss25mmくらいしかないので、それに比べればコスパはいいかと。ただ、私は何かフィーリングが合わず、既に売り払いました。

ポートレート用としてコスパが良いレンズだと思います。室内で子供を撮るときでもフラッシュを使わなくても明るく撮影できます。絞りを開放した時には暗い水族館で綺麗な撮影ができます。また、軽く持ち運びもしやすいため旅行でも活躍します。

(Monté sur un Sony A7iii)Il me manquait un grand angle en complément de mon 28-75 pour faire de la photo d'intérieur et d'architecture : celui-ci est parfait ! Il est abordable pour une ouverture intéressante à 2.8, ne déforme pas trop (rien qui ne peut être réglé sur Lightroom), il est tout petit et peut donc être facilement emmené dans le sac photo. Je ne l'utilise pas en vidéo, mais en photo il fait le travail !

Son seul vrai défaut réside dans l'autofocus, qui est peu réactif au suivi de sujets "vifs" (comme mon fils :)). Sinon, le rapport qualité/prix est tout simplement excellent. Un bel objectif à portrait.
