The operation of the device is easy to understand. However, The earbuds do not fit securely in the year. It doesn’t matter if you have a small canal or a large canal, they just have a poor fit. If you move your head from side to side while communicating, which is natural, many times the earbud is released from your ear. They provide an ear bud retainer that you can clip onto the ear bud itself, but while the earbud remains attached it is not a secure fit.The translation is pretty good. I have another device manufactured by Pocket Talk and there is no distinction between the two devices and their transmission software capabilities for pure translation; person to person. The time kettle device software is functional and intuitive. However, the voice call function and multi person function only works if the people you’re communicating with also have this device. The device is expensive and the probability of another person having one is very slim to none. I would venture to say that most companies will not provide this product for their employees as this would have to be a self expense and most employees will not spend the money required for this device.The functions for one on one, listen and play, ask and go work well. This device is more convenient there is less back-and-forth and button pushing required, which can be disturbing and somewhat of an Inconvenience.They have just dropped the price of their products. I purchased my Timekettle X1 earlier this week and they have dropped the price by ¥20,000 since my purchase. It’s a significant price drop. Not quite sure why this is a new product, so they wouldn’t have a replacement readily available. Perhaps sales in Asia are down. People in Asia aren’t paid as well as they are in the west and therefore probably not too many people are buying them or companies for that matter.Time kettle is an American company with a managing operation located in China where the translator is manufactured. It has the same quality and tactile feel of an apple product for sure. It’s made in China but it is very well-made! The battery life is good especially for all of the functionality that is required for this device.Wi-Fi is a must as there is no cellular version available as of yet. I have found that 2G/3G and 4G connections can sometimes complicate its translation capability. However on 5G networks it works flawlessly. I haven’t had any lag and the translation is given in the form in which you provide through your speech as well as a simplified version of what you said.I would recommend the product but not the earbud design. I very much dislike the earbuds for the reasons of fit and comfort. If these features could be improved then essentially it may be worth the ¥103,000 or $699. By adding a nipple head, as Apple has to their earbuds, this would greatly improve the fit in comfort.I will not return mine because I need its features and reliability on a daily basis. And as I said before, it is an improvement over Pocket Talk’s features and capabilities.Given a choice between the X1 and a Pocket Talk device, hands-down I would choose this device even though the earbuds are not comfortable and do not fit well. I have not yet used the conference feature or the call feature because people that I work with in my global network do not own one as of yet. I look forward to the time that I can utilize these features.It would be great if I was be able to connect with people outside of the Timekettle proprietary ecosystem, so that communication could be made with people using cellular and landline devices.This company did win an award for innovation at the CES in Las Vegas earlier this year. The chief executive officer of the company he’s a brilliant person and he’s steering the company in the right direction. Building, and improving upon current translation systems is a tedious responsibility, and it is my hope that in time they will improve upon their physical hardware designs.I would purchase it only for professional use. Otherwise one of their lower tier hardware translators probably would be more sufficient, have a simpler form factor and offer greater fit/comfort designed for the consumer.

私は英語が苦手で話しかけられても言っていることが分からない為、返答することはできません。他の方も苦手で英語での打合せ・会議をするのに通訳者がいないとできませんでした。グローバル会議がある為、今回このX1を会社で購入致しまして参加される方に使用して頂いたところ、多少変換の間(タイムラグ)がありますが、同時通訳されて変換された内容も理解できるとの高評価をしておりました。テザリングによるネット接続でも、他のメーカーよりも早く翻訳されるとの評価もありました。自分も、英語ニュースをウェブにて翻訳された内容を聞き、文字起こしされたテキストも併せて確認しました。翻訳された内容はわかり英語ニュースの内容を把握することが出来ました。値段はそれなりにしますが、自分が知っている翻訳機とは全く違う次元で、「すごい」の一言です。またこのX1はアップデートしていくとの事で、11月末のアップデートでPCとつなげた時にスクリーンのミラーリングにより、画面表示やプロジェクターを使用し、英語圏、日本語圏それぞれの人に翻訳し文字起こしされた内容を表示することができるようになるとの事で共有しながら会議することができるとの事で、期待しています。個人でも購入したい…。今回知らないことばかりで、Timekettle社のサポートの方色々とお世話になりました。対応もメールで日本語に対応して頂き、おしえていただいたり、質問した内容も全て日本語で回答して頂きスムーズに対応することができました。なので☆5とさせていただきます。

メディアを読み込めませんでした。2024年　12月29日　充電が完全に沈黙（写真4）※注文時は端末補償3年の記載ありでしたが現在は2年との記載があるようです。使用から1年経つ前に充電が全く出来なくなりました。利用は月3 x 10ヶ月の結構長い時間を使っていて12月18日までは全く問題なく使えていました。通常の使用下で1年持たず充電が出来なくなったのには驚きです。すごく便利で最高の翻訳機でしたが寿命はちょっと頼りありませんでした。海外旅行では命綱かつ高額品なのでDIYで充電池が交換出来るようであれば更に良かったかなと思います。海外などで突然言葉が通じ無くなり孤立無援になるのは本当に大変ですので(＠_＠;)私の使用状況では1年経つ前に文鎮化し壊れて使えなくなりましたが、2〜３年の端末保証はあるので、一般的な購入の場合は壊れた時には補償対応が受けられると思います。海外へ通訳同伴する場合と比べてかなりの経費削減にはなるかと思います。性能はどの翻訳端末の中でも最高の品質で音も良く聞き取りやすかったので、個人的にTimekettle製品を再購入しても良いかなとは思っています。こちらは大人数や複数の人間との会話に対応した高機能モデルでAIによる認識でかなり正確な翻訳が可能になっています。イヤホンマイクを使った同時通訳が物凄く便利で、様々な言語への翻訳が可能。本体やイヤホンの音も明瞭でとても声が聞き取りやすくできています。外国語ネイティブの方に協力して貰い、いくつか会話をしたのですがしっかりと日本語や英語に韓国語や中国語など双方向の翻訳ができておりました。ただ、専門用語など通常は用いない言葉は誤訳があるので、その辺はスマホでの文字翻訳などと一緒に利用すると良さそうです。初回のアップデートは10分近くかかりましたので、電源を落とさないよう充電のパワーの残りに注意してアップデートする必要があります。とても素晴らしい性能ですのでぜひ旅行のお供にしたいと考えています。

以前はM3を使っていましたが、携帯とリンクしなくてはいけなかったのですが今回のモデルは本体のみで使えるところとイヤフォンも内部で充電はできてとても便利です。私は中国で使うことが多いので、中国のその他の省の方言が入ってくれると助かります。

何点か手元に置いておきみんなで使用するそんな商品ですねしっかりしていて見た目もとてもスタイリッシュ使い方を覚えるまでは大変だが使い方を覚えればいろんな事が容易く出来るようになるこれは便利

オンラインでの会議で使ってみました。タイムラグが殆どなく翻訳されるので驚きました。機能満載でまだ全然使いこなせていませんが　とても楽しくコミュニケーションが取れるのは素晴らしいです。こんなに自然に会話が出来るのは初めてです。大変便利で良い商品だと思います。

サイズ感は特に大き過ぎず、四角いシンプルなデザイン。133の言語に対応しているので多くの言語による翻訳が可能。2つのイヤホンを利用する事で様々な活用が可能。翻訳の精度は全ての言語で試してはいないが、必要な意思の疎通はでき、精度も高いと思われます。様々な機能を備えて活用の幅は広いが、価格面で多少敷居が高くなっている。
