If you like your houjicha more on the 'well-roasted' side, this is the one for you. The price is also great when you consider that it's 200grams and most other tea places sell theirs in 100gram packages. A lot of houjicha is not really all that roasted, being kind of green and rather strong. I like this style too, but I also like the nutty, smokey flavour of a tea that's been roasted a bit more, and this is the one.

美味しい。ほっこりする優しい味。さすがですね。すでに200グラム✖️３本をリピ買い。

独特すぎる、もしくは強い香り付けをしたほうじ茶も、いくつか買って飲んだ。でも毎日何杯も飲むなら、「ほうじ茶はあんな感じの味」って予測と合致するものがよくて、一保堂のほうじ茶はそこにいるかな、と。美味いな。色はほうじ茶だけどスカ食らったようなシロモノもあるけど、一保堂のは、ちゃんと作ってますよって味がする。
