There are 5 reasons the Hikoki is better than the Makita 40V angle grinders:1. It is a variable speed from 3,200-10,000 rpm. None of the Makita 40V angle grinders have a variable speed dial! They only run at one speed.2. The Makita grinders will only run at a maximum speed of 8,500 rpm. The Hikoki can run up to 10,000 rpm.3. The Hikoki has two LED lights.4. For the speed of the Hikoki, you can run it at AUTO or you can set the speed yourself. The Makita does not have an AUTO mode and it only runs at one speed.5. The Makita 40V grinders do not have a kickback reduction feature.Too bad I already bought a Makita 40V angle grinder. I could have used the money to get the Hikoki 🙁

以前、同じくHIKOKI製で充電式の125径のパドル式スイッチを購入しましたが、パドル式スイッチのセーフティーロックの構造が問題で操作がしにくく初動が不安定になる為、従来の固定式スイッチの本品い買い換えました。充電式である事に加え作業時の本体ホールド性も良く作業姿勢も安定し使いやすいです。

Hikoki do not warranty there tools. Be aware. I have owned this tool for 3 months. I have used the tool twice. The tool was supplied with a Hikoki Battery. This battery appears to have faulted 3 of my tools. They were all purchased at the same time with minimal use. After contacting Hikoki about the faulty tools i was told i would have to pay to get them repaired. Unfortunately the high price tag does not match the quality of these tools. Price to fix the tool is half of the price to purchase new. Do not buy!!!
