片手で使いやすい鉋です。切れ味も良いと思います。

メディアを読み込めませんでした。DIYで木工時に時々使う程度ですが、裏金の調整が要らないので、使いたい時に直ぐ使えるのがありがたいですね

カンナ本体はホームセンターで買いましたが、替刃を扱っていませんでしたので、ネット検索で見つけました。素人は研ぐ事が出来ないのでこれは助かる。

廃材を燃やす前に表面の塗料を除去したいと思ってカンナを考えた。しかしなかなか難しい。刃を髪の毛ほど出せと書いてあるが、その調節が難しい。刃を出しすぎるとつっかかって削れない。引っ込めすぎると何も削れない。刃を出す感触は経験しかない。また対象の木材が平らなら良いが少しでも反っていると（たいていの木材は多少反っている！）一部しか削れない。それやこれやで頭で描いた感じに削ることは意外に難しいというのが実感。スクレイパーと合わせ技で挑戦している。買う方はGOODLUCK！

今回初めてこの鉋のことを知りました。鉋は刃を研ぐのが大変であり、切れなくなったら刃を替えることで作業が届こうることがない、便利である。しかもよく切れることである。

今まで安物のカンナを使っていたが、作業性が悪いのでこれを買ってみた。正解だった。本当に薄くきれいに削ってくれる。

商品自体は初心者でも動画を参考に調整すれば特に研がなくても切れるようになりますこれは使ってみて初めて分かったのですが鉋は木材をいかに固定できるかで扱いやすさが格段に変わりますので購入と同時に固定方法も考えておいた方がいいです。

I've been using this plane for a short while and I'm really liking this kanna plane. Aside from adjusting the blade it pretty much works out of the box. The dai (plane body) was already flat in front of the blade and has a slight relief behind the blade (which I heard was normal). But it is worth checking to make sure the dai hasn't warped or something.One of the big reasons I went with this plane was because of it's replaceable blade. It's not traditional, but I also didn't want to deal with buying additional, expensive whetstones. I like the option and convenience of just tossing the blade after it dulls. And so far I've been impressed by the sharpness of the blades. I've been able to plane end grain and do chamfering without tear out on old growth Douglas fir. Also I don't particularly want to futz around with further sharpening and spending a bunch of time tuning a new plane like a lot of other woodworkers talk about with Japanese planes.Bottom line, the Kakuri plane is a tool that gets out of your way and works out of the box. I'd buy again.

this plane blade no need to be sharpened. it's replacing type of blade so. enjoy to save your time to sharpen the blade.

It takes some practice to adjust the blade but once you get it down, it is simple!

I like the replaceable small blade tip insert. Compared to my Swiss Rali plane of similar width, this plane cuts easier and produces a smoother surface. The Kakuri cost less than the Rali. However, the two planes differ in other ways and may not be direct alternatives for you. Each company offers an array of planes. Read the specs carefully for both before choosing. The Kakuri Toshizo has a typically long (for a Japanese wood plane) base in front of the blade and is meant to be pulled. This feature makes it easier to keep the plane base flat to the wood that I am working on when I first start to plane. Recommended. Note that not all Kakuri planes have the replaceable small blade inserted into an larger holding piece. The clue seems to be the word Toshizo appended to the main name of Kakuri. Replacement blades come in a set of six for about $5 per blade at the time of writing.
