Necklace itself is well made and good quality materials. Seems to use durable silicone and steel which doesn’t rust for the connecting part.as one other disappointed Japanese review says, the packaging is quite flimsy lightweight plastic that’s easily mis-shapen and the bare minimum. for something costing so much you would expect more premium packaging but because the product itself is high quality I didn’t mind them saving money on the packaging.the item arrived perfectly safe so the packaging is enough to protect the necklace inside.I agree though with the other review that if you buy this as a gift the squished or mis-shaped packaging might give a disappointing impression. my packaging was not broken but it did look slightly warped and aged, not perfectly square like you would expect if you saw it on the hook in a store.if buying for yourself it is not a problem.it is expensive but I wanted something high quality that would last and the Colantotte Crest R[Ex] delivers in this area so I am satisfied. keep in mind there are different sizes available when shopping for these.at the time Amazon had the best price for this necklace I purchased and was satisfied thank you. 5/5.
