MMOMENT MS16 256GB 2.5 Inch SATAI have always been cautous about buying a SSD with all the cleavets that come with them.In particular, the write wear problem that is built into any solid state memory.YOU really need to do some research on the internet about the SSD's, they are not for everyone.Pay attention to the Write Wear problem which all Solid State memory has, and in particular, the speeds and how they layer the memory to increase the memory size of the drive. The larger the drive, the more critical the memory is with its layored manufacture. It is crucial to understand how the layered memory is affected by write wear and how the speed of the drive drops, the bigger the drive is.I bought this drive as a test unit, it will basically be a data dump for my computers and back ups transfer center.I expect it to show any weakness that is built into it because of the solid state memory. So far so good,UNDERSTAND, the only reason the drive reads quickly is because of the solid state memory, it does NOT actually speed up the computer, that speed is controlled by the processor, not the drive. Speeding up of the computer by upgrading to a SSD is a untruth. Understand what you are buying into.eThe HDD is still the best for archiving data for extended time as the SDD can lose memory over time. Look it up folks. As long as you understand the pluses and minus's of the SSD drive, I recomend this or any SSD Drive.I do not know the seller nor did I get any money or product for my random review.250607 0300

My PC had a 120Gb SSD (C:) and a 1TB HDD. I kept getting messages that the SSD (C:) was full. I tried to create space by deleting apps and moving them to D:, but they would only reinstall to C:. So I needed a larger SSD that was SATA compatible rather than NVMe. This seemed to fit the bill. I purchased an external M.2 to USB enclosure to hold the card while it was cloned. The 'free' cloning software I needed turned out to be only free to download, but at the point of use I had to pay £36. Nevertheless the cloning went well, and having installed the new SSD I can say it works very well and my boot up time is now under 15 seconds. My OS partition on the SSD C: is now a healthy 400Gb+.

Would be better if pre-loaded with Windows.HARD to SET UP
