I do quite a lot of shoots, and it gets difficult straining your eyes on the small camera monitor over time. And I wasn't looking for anything crazy like the Atomos Ninja V with a bunch of features. So I gave this a try, and for the most part, I'm really satisfied with what it has done. Most of the features it offers are already listed, but having the false color and LUT input feature was really a game changer and helped me envision a lot of what I was shooting. The menu system is pretty easy and straightforward, through the control of one joystick, and it's convenient that it comes with a mount for your camera already. The only cons there are really are that the protector to block out any sun is pretty flimsy, and I don't use it at all, and over time I had to replace the HDMI cord that came with it (but that's expected with wear and tear). And additionally, my monitor has a slight light bleed through it, but barely noticeable and it's still hard to complain about, considering the price point. It's a 5 for me considering that every other monitor is crazy expensive out there, and I definitely think that if you're a beginner or looking for a budget monitor for your camera, this has to be a consideration.

For the price, you really won't find anything out there that can compare to this monitor. The image quality is great, and bright outdoors, it also comes with all the cables and mounting accessories most people will need.Pros:Affordable / PriceBrightLots of included accessoriesGreat customer service at OSEEFull-size HDMI InputsWorks with Sony NP BatteriesLight-weightEasy-to-useSide mounting connection 1/4 20 (Standard) for PortraitBottom mounting connecting 1/4 20 (Standard) for LandscapeGreat confidence monitor on setYou can add Luts (Major need for those shooting with BMD, RED, Alexa, Etc. cameras who use Butter LUTs)Scopes (Also a big plus for those on cameras that don't have Scopes built into their camera settings)Includes Hot Shoe Mounting AccessoryIncludes SunshadeCons:Plastic housing, but also is a pro because it keeps this monitor incredibly lightFor under $200 you honestly will not find a monitor this good that can compete with the OSEE T5, I absolutely love this monitor and I suggest if you do get one and plan to use it as a field monitor get a good Hard/Travel Case with foam, make sure you treat it well and it should last you years.

I own many on-camera monitors over the year (SmallHD, Atomos) and this one is by far the best monitor for its price. I mainly use my SmallHD Indie 7 which on my Sony FX6, but this little guy comes very handy for a DSLR or a mirroless camera like an A7SIII. Yes, it's made of plastic and feels a bit cheap BUT if you handle it with care, I'm sure it will last for years. The bracket is made of metal and it comes with 3 hdmi cables which are a bit short in my opinion. They're perfect for a mirroless but if you mount this on a FX6 for exemple, the cable is way too short to reach the hdmi port of the camera. The hood is okay, I'm not sure the elastic that hold it on the monitor will last very long, but it's a nice addition to the kit.The monitor is not SUPER bright, so the hood is a must if you shoot outside...and even that, it could hard to see on a very sunny day.But you got what you paid for and to be honest, I can't imagine having a better monitor than this for the price. Finally, it is super user friendly, easy to navigate through the different menus and create custom pages and you have all the tools that a thousand dollar monitor have: zebra, false colors, peaking, anamorphic mode, LUTS, histogram, waveform.Don't hesitate a second!

This 125 dollar monitor is perfect for travel it's lighter than my iPhone 12 pro max with a big case. It gives lots of features for creatives to see things like focus peaking, zebra, and false-color to name a few. It can have luts downloaded and add to the monitor. It's far less expensive, bulky and heavy compared to an Atomos V. Although and atmos you can record to an external recorder and that has a touch screen which this doesn't. The button used for the control is really the only downside of the product as it does feel a bit plastic. It comes with several HDMI cables and a way to attach the monitor to a different set up with it having two quarter-inch threads on the side and the other on the bottom. The monitor is excellent for mirrorless cameras and small gimbals such as the crane m3. I really had fun using the monitor on my trip to Miami. Also, I have messaged Osee on Instagram and they do respond which is always great. I highly recommened it.

This is my first external monitor for a camera. It's very clear and focusing with older lenses is much easier now. I'd say the screen/video quality is a significant upgrade from my A7III's screen. Other than that, the monitor itself feels pretty cheap and it would definitely break if dropped. Slappin' a cage on this bad boy would alleviate that issue with the added weight but it's already pretty light. One thing that drove me crazy was a buzzing sound coming from the battery area. I did several tests and after receiving a replacement, I was plagued with the same buzz that was picked up by my shotgun mic! As a last ditch effort, I adjusted the brightness to 10 (max) on both monitors and the buzzing disappeared...! After this workaround, I'd say I'm pleased overall (despite 10 being the only working brightness level.) It's not a pro tool but a pro can use it without any issues. Hope you see this review before chucking it due to the buzz, tho. ;p
