JBL LIVE 770 NC

I replaced older Bose headphones with these. I have also owned older Sony NC headphones. The JBL are better constructed, and the app adds some useful features. For example, a facility to test your hearing in each ear, to tune response specifically to your ears/age/fit. It works very well. There are other options to customize the headphones too. It's an easy-to-use app that actually adds something to the product.The ANC is truly adaptive: when there is low ambient noise, the NC is low. When you are outside or on transport, it automatically ramps up the NC. But unlike some, including Bose, the sound quality doesn't change, which is remarkable. It just gets rid of most of the noise.I used these on some 7 hour flights recently and they were sufficient, not best in class for NC, but good enough. I think Bose removes more noise, but at the expense of doing something to the sound. You may prefer Bose or Sony if you want absolute noise cancellation and don't mind losing some of the music too.Other notable features are that you can use them with a wire (supplied) for older devices. This doesn't need any battery power, unless you want to use NC. The wired connection supports "hi res" (as do all wired connections...) but it's nice to have. the cable is just a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, unlike some that use a 2.5mm plug, so it's easy to replace if necessary. In my usage with an old iPod 5th gen (wired) and an iPad (wired or BT) the sound was exactly the same when used wired or BT. This is unusual for BT headphones with a wired option.So they can work as ordinary headphones when you wish, or when the battery or electronics eventually expire. Hence they should last a bit longer than the usual few years for devices that depend on the non-replaceable batteries. Speaking of which, they use BT5.3 LE and the battery lasts 60+ hours, so you won't need to charge them much. This reduces the cycle count on the battery, prolonging its life. BT LE audio will be supported by a firmware update as soon as the standard is verified.There is a touch surface on the right ear cup which you can customise for certain controls, but I switched it off - too easy to make a mistake and I prefer physical buttons. These buttons are present, so you have a choice. It takes some time to learn which button does what, as there are too many and all on the same ear cup, but you'll get there eventually.The headphones fold, both the ear cups as well as the arms, so you can place the headphones around your neck with the cups flat, or fold it up for carrying if you prefer. There is no case, just a bag, but folded up I managed to fit it easily into a JAL washbag.Finally, the headphones sense when they are taken off and pause the music or video, starting again when you put them back on. This is defeatable in the app if you prefer it not to. Plus they have auto-off (configurable duration using the app) to save power. These and all the other features make it a very flexible and convenient pair of headphones.Some well-known and much more expensive devices lack at least some of the above, so I think this offers more than its price suggests.

音質等の難しいことはあまりわかりませんが、Liveというだけあって音の広がりがしっかりと感じることができ、低音も響きすぎない気持ちいい程度に出ているので凄く満足しています。また充電端子がUSB-Cになっており、バッテリーも１回充電すれば２週間程度もつ点も使い勝手が良いです。１点外でノイズキャンセリングを起動して歩いている時に、風がヘッドホンに当たるとノイズが入ってしまう点と歩いている時に頭が上下すると、カランカランとヘッドホンの中で何か音が鳴ることがあります。そのため、星を１つ減らしましたが、総評としてとても買ってよかったと思っています。

色がかわいい。着け心地も文句なし。夏は少し暑いかも。音もノイズキャンセリングも最高です。

今まで使っていたヘッドフォンの音質が物足りなかったためミドルレンジ機を探していたところセール中だったため購入。個人的に重低音マシマシの洋楽とかをよく聴くのでJBLの中でも低音をしっかり出せるLIVE770NCをチョイス。結果的には大満足です。また映画もよく見るのでアプリで音質調整するとまるで映画館のような耳の震える音響を再現しているかのような錯覚に落ち入れます。「DUNE砂の惑星」というIMAX向け映画をIMAXシアターで見る予定でしたが機会を逃してしまったため、家でできるだけの再現をと思い空間サウンドをムービーモード、イコライザーをEXTREMEBASSにして部屋を暗くし大画面で見たところ、脳内映画館を作り出すことに成功。まじで楽しいです。質感はバンドのところが革やプラスチックではなくファブリックなので柔らかく、見た目もオシャレです。パッドも肉厚ソフトで長時間使用でも耳への負担が少ないです。また、ゲームモードにするとBluetooth接続時のラグが低減されFPSゲームくらいなら不満なくプレイできます。もっと高い価格帯のモデルはたくさんありますが日常使いにおいてはこのモデルでかなり満足できるのではないかと思います。

音も良く、掛け心地も良い。音の作りもJBLらしく聴きやすい。

音質はこのクラスにしては良い方、というか十分ですね。音量も結構あります。さすがに１万円クラスのヘッドフォンと比べると明らかに良いのは解ります。やたら低音重視に見られてますが、ハイもミッドもそれなりにまとまってるし消してブーミーになるわけじゃないのでバランスが良くてオールジャンル向き。無線も１０ｍくらいは十分届くし、ノイキャンも他と比べて申し分無いですが、マイクの風防が全くダメで扇風機の風を少し受けるだけでも音が入ってきます。物理ボタンは慣れると扱いやすいですが、タッチセンサーは感度が怪しいです。一番残念な点は、ヘッドフォンを外した際に音声が停止しないことでしょうか。音楽アプリを再生する時だけヘッドフォンの着脱センサーが働いて停止します。映画や動画などでは反応せず。しかもこのセンサーの反応が恐ろしく鈍いです。また、側圧はソニーやアンカーと比べると確実に高いので長時間だと痛くなる。ヘッドバンド部分は全体的にソフトパッドが入ってますが、頭頂部も痛くなる。イヤーパッドは密閉性が高い分、耳に熱が溜まりやすいので夏場は若干厳しい。ホールド性が高いので頭が前後に振られたりしてもズレたり外れることはない。専用のアプリが非常に使いやすくて便利。Bluetoothの反応も非常に良いです。基本的な音質が良いので、ＥＱや空間系のエフェクト等でさほど調整せずとも十分に良いサウンドは体験出来ます。実勢価格で見るとSONY WH-CH720NやAnker Soundcore Space Q45あたりがまさにライバルといった感じですが、サウンドとノイキャンで一歩上を行く感じ。フィット感と音量を重視すると長時間に耐え得るのは圧倒的にWH-CH720Nかな。アンカーは重量があるのでこれも長時間厳しそう。あと音質は総合的にイーブン。デザイン的にはアンカーと良い勝負かも。ソニーは高級感は皆無だけどシンプル。ヘッドバンドがデニムのような布生地なので汚れは目立ちやすく掃除しにくそう。あと、有線接続すると無線の時よりも音量がだいぶ落ちますが音質は悪くない。アンカーだとLDAC対応していたりしますが、JBLやSONYの場合はそもそもヘッドフォンの基本的なサウンドクオリティが高いので、LDACやハイレゾなんか正直あってもなくてもどうでもいい感じ。逆にそこを気にする人は迷わずもっと上のハイエンドを買うべき。WH-1000XM5や最新のWH-1000XM6なんかになると、音質だけでなく、ノイキャンも抜群だし、装着感も申し分ない。まぁ音質云々と言っても何を聴くか？というのによって評価は随分変わってくるかと。ＥＤＭばっかり聴くような人ならULT WEAR WH-ULT900Nの方が確実に喜ばれそう。因みにこの他にはないJBLのサンドストーンという色は画像で見ると高級感があるが、実際に見てみると思っていたほど高級感はないかも。シャンパンゴールドであればもう少し高級そうに見えたと思うですけどね。結局無難なブラックが一番良さそう。
