Well designed compact dual fan design, compared to all of the other AMD's AIB vendors 3 fan which are much larger. The 2.5 slot design with a length of 280mm is perfectly sized for SFF (small form factor) PC's.I originally purchased the card to be installed in an Sonnet Breakaway Box 550 eGPU, so that it could be used across various MacBookPro's as well as a MacMini under MacOS as well as Windows 10/11 via Bootcamp.Sadly Apple decided not to support the AMD 7XXX series cards in MacOS, MacOS only supports up to some varieties of the AMD 6XXX based cards. So was left with a configuration that only worked on Windows 10/11 by running Windows under BootCamp on the Mac's.TB3 only supports 32 Gbps of actual data transfer from the 40Gbps advertised bandwidth, or the equivalent of 4 GigaBytes Per Second.A 16 lane PCIE-4.0 allows up to 32 GB/s so TB3 theoretically only supports 1/8th of the bandwidth of the 16 lanes of PCIE 4.0.In actual bench testing the Graphics Score under the 3DMark TimeSpy/TimeSpyExtreme showed a maximum performance of about 2/3 of what a card would perform with the card directly attached to a PCIE interface either directly to a CPU or to a support chip connected to the Front Side Bus of a CPU.So decided to purchase an Intel NUC 13 Extreme and installed the RX 7800XT otherwise 1/3 of the performance would be wasted. (The eGPU setup was already 5 years old and getting way too long in the tooth). The Sapphire Pulse RX 7800XT has a rated Total Dissipated Power (TDP) of 266 Watts, so using two of the PCIE power connectors of the 750 PSU provided more than enough current to satisfy the power needs (150 Watts per PCIE power connector).Ran some quick benchmarks using 3DMark's TimeSpy (Render in QHD) and TimeSpyExtreme (Render at 4K and then downsize to QHD).TimeSpy's Graphics score was 19305, TimeSpyExtreme Graphics score was 9049, 3DMark temperature logs showed that the GPU temperature remained below 63 degrees C in both runs, the fans were spinning but were not loud, zero coil whine, so relatively quiet.Didn't have HWINFO64 running during the 3DMark benchmark runs so didn't log GPU Memory Junction Temperatures or GPU Hotspots temperatures, but while doing some gaming at QHD with FPS capped to 60 I noticed that the GPU Hotspot Temperaures were in the high 70's low 80's degrees C.One thing that I did notice is that the latest version of Sapphire TRIXX that is supposed to support the newer RX5000/6000/7000 cards does not run unless there is no othe GPU that is in the system. The i5-13600K that is in the Intel NUC 13 Extreme has an integrated UHD Graphics 770 GPU, as such TRIXX refuses to run since it can't detect the RX 7800XT card. The shipping box for the Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 7800XT is quite large, larger than the one used for their previous Pulse Radeon RX-56 Vega and even larger than the Sapphire Radeon RX 7900XT reference card. Not sure why Sapphire decided to go with such a large box.Overall I was pretty happy with the purchase.Note 2: After seeing the quality of the reference AMD Radeon RX 7900XT card I would not hesitate to purchase the Sapphire AMD RX 7800XT version of the reference card. That card is currently listed at a slightly lower price than the Pulse version of the card on Amazon Japan, the reference RX 7800XT is even shorter than the Pulse RX 7800XT card (267mm vs 280mm).Edit: Purchased Cyberpunk and was able to run the built in benchmark. With Ray Tracing enabled in QHD (2560x1440) the Sapphire Pulse RX 7800XT was able to hit an average frame rate of 56.48 FPS, with lows of 39.43 FPS and highs of 90.09 FPS those were obtained with FSR2.1 set to AUTO and FSR2.1 Image Sharpening set to 1. Pretty impressive numbers for a NVIDIA focused gaming title. Also including the 3DMark Speedway Test results that also uses Ray Tracing to render it's images. Total score of 3762, which means an average frame rate of 37.62 at QHD resolution. Again pretty decent for a mid range card that trails NVIDIA cards for Ray Tracing.Note 3: The Sapphire products sold by official retailers in Japan have a 2 year warranty by the distributor in Japan. The 2 year warranty is the same length as Sapphire offers in most other countries/markets.

First thing first I would've given it a 5 star if the price wasn't 90k yen (around 630 freedom bucks) when I bought it.Call me petty but they dropped the price to 84k yen for the Nitro+ and around 78k for the Pure series. I would've done a white build if I wasn't a dork that couldn't wait a few days before buying it. That 6k different could've gone to a cable strip or extra fans.God I'm furious but I still like the GPU ARGGHHHHHBut anyway, it's a good GPU (remember if the price wasn't changed immediately after I bought it I would've given it a 5 star because the GPU itself is awesome 💯) and it looks fantastic, probably the sexiest 7800xt out there.9/10 would recommend (if the price is right)
