Bought this as an upgrade from my older mirror cam, and worth it.Worth noting -Upgraded rear camera. This camera sports a higher resolution then my previous one. It also supports HDR, which is an incredible feature to have. The images are clear and crisp. In addition, the new zoom feature is nice. It's worth it when you are needing to see finer details. I use this in my Jeep Wrangler. Looking out the OEM mirror, with a big tire in the back, makes it very hard to see. The camera with another kit I purchased I was able to stick it out the spoke of the wheel. Perfect placement!Mirror - fit perfectly. OEM fit and it came with everything I needed. The mirror is brighter then my previous mirror and can see clearly in the day time. Gets a little washed out when I have the top off the Jeep, but hey I have a panoramic view of what's behind and to the side of me.Customer Service - great service. I had an issue with the wiring and they were quick to respond with the solution. Can't complain really.Over all this is a great mirror cam and worth the buy.

I'll be using this in a Ford F-550 to allow for rear visibility with a rear window blocked by a headache rack.They display and control unit (mirror) is super clear and high resolution, it contains both an elastic and OEM style mount to replace or augment an existing rear view mirror.The really nice thing about this unit is the forward facing camera is external, this is very helpful for placement if you have a large tint strip at the top of your window. You are able to place the camera below the tint strip line so it has a clear view ahead of the vehicle.The rearward facing camera has an extra long cable so it can accommodate mounting in multiple vehicle types.This unit also supports GPS although the GPS receiver was not included with my evaluation unit. This allows for access to direction of travel and speed data directly on the mirror.The unit supports MicroSD cards for the storage of video data, you can select multiple file sizes based on number of minutes for each file. The unit seems to support up to 128 GB cards.The unit comes with a cigarette lighter power adapter which will allow the unit to power down if your cigarette lighter socket Powers down with the vehicle. There is an additional hardwire power cable that can be purchased separately for ignition based power control.I am very happy with the display quality and the video quality of the recordings on these units, they're high resolution enough to allow for discernment of license plate information.I will add more to this review as I am able to test this unit more thoroughly.

I drove a loaded Prius Prime and fell in love with it's digital mirror.After lots of research and making a less than optimal decision about another digital mirror, I found this mid-cost digital mirror that does everything the Toyota digital mirror does and includes the ability zoom in and out & up and down. Further, the resolution is very high.My left eye has a fixed pupil diameter that keeps my pupil from adjusting the light level inside my eye. So a very bright light actually caused physical pain.This digital mirror allows me to see anything in that mirror at a electronically adjusted light level that prevents pain in my eye. This is the case when I see someone's high beam light at night or the sun during the daytime.If you have an elderly parent with a similar issue, this may be the best gift that you could give them.Install was a snap. The only thing that took time was tucking in the wire to the rear camera. Even at that the tool to tuck the wire came with the mirror.As far as I was concerned, the front camera and the automatic video storage was very nice but less important.I highly recommend this!

Unlike so many other cheaply made products on the market lately, the first thing I noticed was that it felt very solidly made and the OEM style rear view mirror mount was a heavy cast metal where it counted and heavy plastic in other areas...obviously some thought was put into making it strong and tight. BTW, a previous review said the mount didnt fit their Ram 1500, but my 2005 Ram 1500 fit it perfectly, simply removed the screw from the old mirror and slipped on the new mount. (There are mount adapters available on Amazon if yours dosent fit) The only weird part was having to rip the black cushions off the back of the mirror unit to expose the mounting screws, but they do say in the manual to make sure the mount will fit your vehicle before doing so, and I assume that's why. It's just not explained fully.The clarity of both the cameras is impressive and appears as exoected for the stated resolutions. Just a reminder, make sure you get a card to use with it, as it does not come with one. But that said, most units that do include a card are send with a small one and with memory cards being cheap these days, it would probably just get set aside for a larger one anyway. Max size as stated in the manual is 128G U1 spec.I haven't had more than a few days to play with it, but I am pleased so far and will update the review if nessisary.

I am on my second one of these. The rear camera on the first unit went bad within a month. Luckily it was within the 30 day return period, I sent it back for a replacement in April of 2024. Now 7 months later the rear camera is not working again. The picture is very blurry and appears to be black and white. Unfortunately I can no longer return it through Amazon and I see no way to contact the manufacturer for warranty service. Overall this is my third mirror and all had issues with the rear camera which is what I wanted the mirror for. Edit. NikoMaku customer service contacted me about my issue and sent a replacement camera which is now working great. Updating review to 5 stars based on the excellent customer service.
