I am using this umbrella stand to store my kendo shinai and bokken upright so that they take up lesser floorspace, and it worked perfectly. The 9-slot version is more than enough to store my active shinai and bokken and spare shinai. The stand is sturdy and won't topple easily, even with all the equipment stored in it, but care must be taken to not knock it over as the centre of gravity will be shifted depending on how the equipment are stored. For example, in the way I stored it, the stand can topple more easily to the right than to the left. But this is just physics, not a problem with the umbrella stand.The open-air design allows the air to circulate through the equipment, keeping them dry and free of mould, especially since I am living in a humid country where mould and mildew grows on wooden items easily.

DIYで簡単に組み立てができる傘立てです。大きな特徴はありませんが、ネジ山が甘く、ちょっと締め付けると金具が変形し永遠にボルトが回ってしまう。せめてネジ部は強度確保が欲しかったところ。本当にネジ部は少しトルクをかけると破損するので要注意。傘は１８本も収納でき利便性が高い。多少ガタがあるのと貧弱な造りのため厳しめの評価となっています。
